The rules and expectations for using Resilience and its empowerment programs.
By accessing or using resilience.kojekon.com (operated by KOJEKON, Plot 17, Mufutau Lawal Layout, Akobo, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.
Resilience documents extraordinary lives and uses those stories to fund and run youth-empowerment programs, currently operating in Nigeria. Our programs include training in skills such as rabbit farming, vegetable farming, and business, along with a Starter Input Pack awarded to graduates. Sponsorship of these programs is enabled through donations processed via Paystack.
Anyone may nominate a person — living or deceased, from anywhere in the world — for a Resilience story. Submitting a nomination does not guarantee that a story will be produced. We select subjects based on editorial judgement, including the extent to which a story can inspire others and support our broader mission. Nominators should have a good-faith basis for believing the information submitted is accurate.
Applying for sponsorship through Resilience's empowerment programs does not guarantee selection. Applications are reviewed based on stated eligibility criteria (e.g. age, citizenship, commitment to training) and are subject to available sponsor funding. Providing false or misleading information on an application may result in disqualification at any stage of the program.
Sponsorship payments are voluntary contributions processed by Paystack. By making a payment, you acknowledge that:
All videos, audiobooks, written stories, and other content produced by Resilience are the property of KOJEKON unless otherwise stated. While Resilience aims to deliver training and starter inputs as described, program timelines, beneficiary numbers, and specific outcomes may vary based on funding, logistics, and circumstances beyond our control. We will communicate material changes to participants where reasonably possible.
Resilience and KOJEKON are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this platform, participation in our programs, or reliance on information published here, to the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
