Who We Are

Resilience is a storytelling and youth-empowerment platform operated by KOJEKON, based at Plot 17, Mufutau Lawal Layout, Akobo, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information submitted through resilience.kojekon.com.

Information We Collect

We collect personal information only when you voluntarily provide it through our forms. Depending on which form you use, this may include:

• Contact form: name, email address, message content, and subject category
• Story nomination form: name, nationality, and biographical details of the person being nominated
• Sponsorship application form: full name, gender, age, email, phone number, state of residence, employment status, your reason for applying, and your preferred starter pack item
• Sponsor a youth form: name, email, and sponsorship amount (payment itself is processed by Paystack — see below)
• Training portal: your access code and training module completion records

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide strictly to:

• Review and process sponsorship and story nomination applications
• Contact you about the status of your application or sponsorship
• Match selected applicants with sponsors and coordinate training and starter pack distribution
• Maintain accurate records of program participants for reporting to sponsors and partners
• Respond to enquiries submitted through our contact form

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Payment Information

Sponsorship payments are processed directly by Paystack, a licensed Nigerian payment processor. Resilience does not receive, store, or have access to your card or bank details at any point — Paystack handles this in accordance with its own security standards and privacy practices. We only receive confirmation that a payment was completed, along with the amount and sponsor's name/email if provided.

Where Your Information Is Stored

Form submissions are processed through Netlify Forms and may be stored in our Supabase database (for sponsorship counters, training records, and program administration). Video and audio content is delivered via Bunny Stream, which does not require any personal information to view public content. Training portal access is protected by a unique access code rather than a public login system.

Data Retention

We retain application and sponsorship records for as long as necessary to administer the relevant empowerment program and for reasonable record-keeping afterward. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time (see "Your Rights" below), subject to any legal or operational obligation to retain certain records.

Your Rights

Under Nigeria's Data Protection Act and Regulation (NDPR), you have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your personal data, where we are not legally required to retain it
• Withdraw consent for future contact at any time

Cookies & Tracking

Resilience does not currently use advertising or tracking cookies. If we introduce analytics tools in the future (such as Plausible or Google Analytics) to better understand site usage, this policy will be updated accordingly before such tools go live.
